As a member of the Investment Team at ECI, my role involves meeting exciting businesses, assessing and executing new deals and supporting portfolio companies throughout the investment journey.
Before joining ECI, I spent 4 years at Houlihan Lokey’s Technology M&A team, where I mainly focused on data analytics and software companies and even had the pleasure of supporting ECI during the acquisition of Ciphr.
Having grown up in Belgium, I initially gained a Master’s degree in Business Engineering with a specialisation in Data Analytics from the University of Ghent, after which I moved to Madrid to obtain a Master’s degree in Finance from IE Business School.
“Sala de Despiece in Madrid. It’s a quaint little restaurant decorated like the inside of a refrigerator. I realise this might sound rather odd but to this day it’s still my favourite restaurant across the globe and think it’s a must-visit when in Madrid!”
“Whereas some people might have decided to actually do something productive with their free time during Covid such as learning a new language, I made the questionable decision of picking up juggling, which at least does act as a fun party trick nowadays!”
“While I am by no means an exceptional athlete, the one area that I do pride myself to be rather good at would be skiing / snowboarding, which I started at the age of four. I am glad to say that those many years of hard work (read enjoyment) finally culminated in me snatching a gold medal during the race of my prior employer’s ski trip!”
