Congratulations to the winners of the ECI sponsored Consumer Business of the Year, and B2B Business of the Year at this year’s Growing Business Awards.
In a tightly fought contest housekeep, a tech-driven, online home-cleaning platform connecting, vetting and scheduling home cleaners for residents, won the Consumer award.

The Consumer category shortlist this year was the toughest it has been in recent memory. While there were a number of more established businesses, the winner was selected for very high and profitable growth, driven by their innovative tech-driven approach in consolidating an unloved and fragmented market. Meanwhile in the B2B category Corndel, who specialise in helping companies maximise the value and impact of their Apprenticeship Levy through delivering training in leadership and technology to some of the UK’s largest companies, emerged victorious.
Michael Butler, Investment Director at ECI, said
The quality of the shortlist in the B2B category was extremely high this year. It was a difficult decision given the innovation shown by each of the businesses and the enthusiasm of their teams. The winner was chosen for their high-quality, disruptive proposition which has enabled it to deliver exceptionally strong, profitable growth. There was a clear vision for the future of the business and the steps needed to get there. Congratulations and we look forward to following your continued success.Michael Butler Investment Director at ECI
